Job summary

ProMach's Brenton is seeking a Controls Technician to commission, test and debug packaging equipment. You will provide electrical and controls support to Mechanical leads, Service Department and Brenton customers.

The role requires hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc robots, HMIs, and reading electrical schematics. Travel up to 35% for machine installation and field support.

Qualifications

• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc robots, HMIs, pneumatics and safety circuits.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC, Robotic and HMI programs for new and retrofit projects.
• Work with electrical designers on updated electrical schematics.
• Commission, test and debug robotic systems at Brenton facility.
• Ensure Brenton electrical standards are followed in controls designs.
• Provide technical support for customers in the field and via phone.
• Domestic and international travel for installation support up to 35%.
