Job summary

ProMach Brenton is hiring a Controls Technician to commission, test, and debug packaging/palletizing/stretch-w wrapping equipment. You will provide electrical and controls support to Mechanical leads, Service Department, and Brenton customers.

The role requires experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc robots, and reading schematics; travel is up to 35%. Onsite in Alexandria, MN, USA. Competitive benefits offered on day one.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot PLC, robotic and HMI programs for new and retrofit projects.
• Read electrical schematics and update electrical drawings.
• Commission, test and debug robotic systems on site.
• Provide technical support to customers in field and via telephone.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC, Robotic and HMI programs for new and retrofit projects.
• Work with electrical designers on updates to electrical schematics.
• Commission, test and debug robotic systems at Brenton facility.
• Ensure Brenton electrical standards are followed in controls designs.
• Provide technical support for customers both in the field and by phone. Travel up to 35% as required.
