Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Installer/Controls Technician to perform installation and checkout of control systems, interfacing with customers to ensure satisfaction.

You will work under general supervision alongside prime electrical contractors and contribute to safe, compliant, and efficient system installations. The role involves reading drawings, wiring installations, and assisting with estimates.

Qualifications

• Electrical apprenticeship or formal training in electrical installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Working knowledge of local codes as it applies to controls.
• Able to determine scope of installation materials and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Installs raceways, cables and wiring to meet local or national codes and system requirements.
• Mounts and terminates controls equipment as needed.
• Assist sales with electrical estimates and retrofit projects.
• Determine final termination points to equipment interfaced with the installed system.
