Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Associate in Central Control Management – Controls Room L1 to apply analysis, reporting, and defect management across risk and control frameworks from Houston.

The role collaborates with technology and business teams to monitor performance, drive data quality improvements, and support production releases. The candidate will translate data into actionable insights, lead issue resolution, and contribute to process enhancements while engaging senior stakeholders

Qualifications

• 2 years reporting experience with data analytics and BI tools.
• Excel proficiency with Pivot, V-Lookup, and Formulas.
• Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.
• General knowledge of ETL processes.
• Experience creating meaningful charts, graphs, or other data visualizations.
• Experience in an Application Support/Client Service or BA/PO role performing issue analysis and monitoring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Report on KPIs and oversee monitoring across SLA, performance, data quality, and incidents.
• Analyze user and application data to produce actionable insights.
• Identify trends, communicate findings, and propose fixes.
• Lead triage meetings to review defects and plan releases.
• Provide detailed production incident updates to stakeholders and partners.
• Document bugs with Technology and prioritize fixes for deployments.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to improve processes and systems.
• Coordinate with Data Quality teams to ensure accurate data.
• Document support issues and maintain knowledge repositories.
• Create user and application reporting using visualization tools.
• Engage users to gather feedback on applications and processes.
