Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Controls Project Manager 4 to lead on-site control systems projects, planning and executing work including hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, and commissioning. You will manage project finances, customer communications, and warranty execution to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities include directing subcontractors, coordinating procurement, and ensuring installation aligns with requirements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems.
• Ability to communicate technical material clearly to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned control systems projects from planning through commissioning, closeout, and warranty support.
• Coordinate hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, and system and network commissioning.
• Manage project costs, billings, collections, profitability, and cash flow for assigned work.
• Maintain communication with customers throughout all phases of the project and pursue change orders when scope changes arise.
• Direct subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administrative support as needed.
