Job summary

TG Kentucky, LLC in Lebanon, KY is seeking an experienced Electrical/Automation Engineer to lead engineering projects and develop IoT-based machine connectivity. The position is full-time and on-site at the Lebanon facility.

You will design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs, support system integration, and drive Lean/TPS-driven continuous improvement while ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
Expertise in PLC programming and HMI development.
Experience with Ethernet, CC-Link, and serial communications.
Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of TPS, Lean Manufacturing, TS, and ISO standards.
Experience with PFMEA development and design reviews.
Strong cross-departmental communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage engineering project schedules and capital investment projects.
Develop and support proprietary IoT systems for machine connectivity and data collection.
Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and control systems.
Support IoT integration, EDI systems, and manufacturing tech improvements.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to deploy solutions.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/TPS principles.
Ensure OSHA, EPA, and safety standards compliance.
Create technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
