Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in control or data acquisition system design, implementation, and commissioning.
• Experience in PLC/HMI software development in major environments with knowledge of others.
• Experience selecting instrumentation and hardware for control and DAQ systems.
• Strong math background for data uncertainty, digital filters, and control functions.
• Ability to lead multi-discipline teams; mentor junior colleagues.
• Desire to drive innovative approaches across project phases.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware wiring diagrams for SCADA systems.
• Develop control system software designs and PLC/HMI development.
• Interface with facility equipment using MODBUS TCP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP.
• Lead SCADA projects through all phases from design to commissioning.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure success.
• Estimate design, materials, installation, and commissioning needs.
• Plan labor resources and project milestones to meet scope and budget.
