Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in Orlando seeks a Controls Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of controls engineers and actively contribute to project execution. The role combines people leadership with hands-on BAS design, programming, graphics development, and support for project delivery.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in HVAC controls or Building Automation, plus an advanced engineering degree. A strong knowledge of BACnet/Modbus and engineering tools is required, with onsite collaboration

Qualifications

4+ years of HVAC controls or Building Automation experience
Advanced degree in Engineering/Construction discipline is preferred
Proficiency with MS Office and engineering tools used in building automation systems

Responsibilities

Design complete building automation systems including controllers, devices, sensors, networks, and hardware.
Create sequences of operation for control of building systems.
Document BAS designs, submittals, and maintain revision control of documents.
Program control algorithms, including third‑party integrations, using EIKON.
Develop graphical interfaces for building automation systems using EIKON and ViewBuilder.
Test programming and interfaces prior to deployment.
Provide technical support during the selling process to address customer requirements.
