Job summary
Carrier's Automated Logic division in Richardson, TX seeks a Lead Controls Engineer to design and program advanced building automation systems for site-specific projects. You will lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with sales and engineering teams to meet customer requirements.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in building automation or HVAC, or equivalent experience, and travel up to 50% onsite.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years building automation/HVAC experience OR Associate Degree with 6+ years OR HS diploma with 8+ years experience.
- Ability to travel and work onsite at client locations up to 50% of the time.
- Strong knowledge of building automation software, hardware, and integration protocols.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and program advanced building automation systems and site-specific configurations.
- Adhere to design, programming, and implementation standards.
- Create design documents with technical details for project teams.
- Develop interfaces and test programs prior to deployment.
- Provide technical support to sales and customers; identify risks and opportunities.
