Job summary

WRIGHT INDUSTRIES, LLC in Nashville, TN is seeking a part-time Controls Engineering Intern for a paid program from May 2027 through August 2027. You will assist and support controls engineers, learn programming, CAD, and basic electrical schematics as part of a project team across applications, controls, mechanical, and build groups.

As an intern, you will learn from experienced engineers, contribute to design, build, program, and deployment of custom automation equipment, and gain hands-on

Qualifications

• High School graduate, or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college program pursuing an engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support Controls Engineers in design, build, and deployment of automated equipment.
• Learn basic programming skills and CAD tasks under guidance of senior engineers.
• Perform routine technical work with instruction and contribute to team projects.

As a Controls Engineering Intern , you willassistand support other Controls Engineers.Learn from some of the most dedicated and technically competent engineers in the Automation Industry.JR Automation drives change by learning and innovating faster than anyone else.As a member of a projectteam,you’llwork alongside our Applications, Controls, Mechanical, and Build teams tosupportthedesign, build, program, and deployment ofcustom automated equipment.

• Expected that many tasks asked will be learning experiences, and experienced team members will provide proper instruction.
• Expected to make positive contributions to the company in response to the training provided.
• Performs routine technical work which does not requirepreviousexperience.
