Job summary

JR Automation is seeking a motivated student for a short-term paid internship in Nashville, TN. The role focuses on learning basic programming, CAD usage, and electrical schematic groundwork within a supportive engineering team.

The intern will contribute to routine technical tasks and participate in training designed to build foundational automation skills. Applicants should be a high school graduate or equivalent and currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college program pursuing an engineering degree.
• Basic CAD proficiency required; familiarity with electrical/pneumatic schematic drawing packages and programming languages is expected.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook is beneficial.
