AsanApplications Engineering Intern,you willassistand support other Applications Engineers. Learn from some of the most dedicated and technically competent engineers in the Automation Industry. JR Automation drives change by learning and innovating faster than anyone else. As a member of a projectteam,you'llwork alongside our Applications, Controls, Mechanical, and Build teams to support the design, build, program, and deployment of custom automated equipment.
Work with a team of applications engineers to design custom automation lines for customers nationwide in a variety of industries.
Collaborate with applications, mechanical, andcontrolsengineers to brainstorm and vet automation solutions, while learning about the automation industry.
Create CAD models, conduct automation timing studies, and prepare quote materials for customers.
Communicate directly with customers to gather requirements, show concept designs, and guide them through the automation process.
Reach out to vendors for product quotes and subject matterexpertise.
Develop, build, and present an intern project togeneralmanagement and applications team.

High School graduate, or equivalent.
Currentlyenrolled in an accredited college program pursuing an engineering degree.
Basicproficiencyin CAD.
Basic knowledge of electrical/pneumatic schematic drawing packages.
Computer literacy in Excel, Word,andOutlook.
JR Automation requires candidates to successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check.
