Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer with strong GCCS (Global Controls & Commissioning System) experience to support automotive manufacturing and automation projects. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with PLC programming, controls integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and GCCS standards in a production environment.

The engineer will work closely with controls, electrical, robotics, manufacturing, and maintenance teams to ensure automated equipment and production lines are successfully integrated, commissioned, and optimized.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC control programs for automated manufacturing equipment.
• Work extensively with GCCS standards and controls architecture.
• Perform controls integration, commissioning, startup, and debugging of production equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC, I/O, HMI, network, sensors, actuators, and electrical control issues.
• Support Allen-Bradley PLCs, including RSLogix 500/5000 and Studio 5000.
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication networks, remote I/O, Ethernet/IP, and related devices.
• Review electrical schematics, I/O drawings, sequence documentation, and control panel designs.
• Develop and modify HMI screens, alarms, diagnostics, and operator interfaces.
• Integrate PLC controls with robots, conveyors, vision systems, safety devices, and other automation equipment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Controls Engineering / Controls Programming.
• Strong hands‑on experience with GCCS.
