Job summary

Caliberr Staffing seeks a Controls Engineer to enhance, maintain, and refine automation across a manufacturing site in Indiana. Your work will balance project engineering with on-floor support, focusing on Allen-Bradley/Rockwell hardware and software.

You will develop and debug PLC systems, create ladder logic, drive systems, HMIs, and perform root cause analyses to minimize downtime. Occasional travel to support other facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in automation or industrial controls.
• Hands-on programming and diagnostic repair of Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Proficiency with ladder logic, VFDs, HMIs, and Studio 5000/RSLogix.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and diagnose faults in automated systems.
• Familiarity with FactoryTalk, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PowerFlex, PanelView, and commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and repair Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC systems.
• Create and debug ladder logic, servo setups, motors, drives, HMIs, and VFDs.
• Perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical support for material handling and production machinery.
