Challenge Manufacturing in Walker, MI is seeking a qualified Controls Engineer to standardize automated machinery, program PLC and HMI systems, and support installation and troubleshooting across our plant. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years system integration experience preferred.
• 5+ years PLC & HMI programming experience.
• Rockwell software and AB CompactLogix/GuardLogix experience required.
• Design and prints knowledge; electrical wiring/installations.

Aufgaben

• Develop, test and improve machine standards.
• Design and program PLC, HMI, robots and other automated equipment as needed.
• Support installation, controls issues and wiring upgrades across the plant; assist or lead troubleshooting of malfunctioning equipment.
• Lead continuous improvement activities such as cycle time reduction and standardization of equipment.
