Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking an engineer to design and program PLCs, HMIs, robots, and other automated manufacturing equipment. You will lead the troubleshooting of malfunctioning equipment and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times and standardize processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 2+ years’ Rockwell software experience, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Rockwell software and AB CompactLogix, GuardLogix, PanelView Plus.
• Proficient in wiring/installing hardware and troubleshooting automated systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and program PLCs, HMIs, robots, and other automated manufacturing equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting of malfunctioning equipment to minimize downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement activities like cycle-time reduction and standardization.
