Job summary

CSI Metrics, LLC is seeking a controls & automation professional to design, program, modernize, and support industrial control systems across Northern and Central California. The role focuses on PLC, HMI/SCADA, telemetry, and networking, with mentorship from a senior engineer with over 30 years of experience.

Primary project location is Antioch, California, with occasional travel to other project sites. A strong foundation in controls and the ability to work methodically is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of industrial control systems and instrumentation
• Ability to diagnose problems and implement practical fixes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Three to eight years in controls or systems integration or equivalent experience
• Driver's license and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Develop or modify PLC programs
• Configure HMI/SCADA systems
• Support telemetry and remote access infrastructure
• Assist with upgrades and migrations of aging systems
• Review P&IDs, process descriptions, and existing logic
• Perform factory testing, field commissioning and startup
