Key Duties:
Automation System Design & Deployment: Architect and implement control systems using SCADA and PLC technologies to support water and wastewater treatment operations.
PLC Configuration & Diagnostics: Develop, test, and debug PLC programs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider) to manage plant machinery and process workflows.
HMI Development & Visualization: Build user-friendly HMI interfaces with dynamic graphics, alarm systems, and trend analysis tools to enhance operator interaction and situational awareness.
System Upkeep & Enhancement: Oversee the performance and reliability of existing SCADA platforms, applying updates and modifications to meet evolving operational demands.
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Partner with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers to define automation requirements and ensure seamless integration across systems.
