Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking an enthusiastic Controls Engineer to lead or contribute to hardware and software design for process automation projects. You will develop architecture requirements, programs for PLCs/SCADA, and support start-up and commissioning at client sites.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 2–5 years of experience, with Rockwell/Proficy/Wonderware proficiency. Willingness to travel up to 50% and remote/onsite site visits are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in controls engineering.
• Experience with Rockwell/PLC & SCADA.
• Knowledge of S88 Batch standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Provide application/control systems design and development for systems of varying complexity.
• Develop and evaluate alternative system solutions that meet requirements.
• Modify program/system logic across multiple subsystems.
• Develop proficiency in several programming languages and control device networks for PLCs, PCs.
• Interact with customers to define scope, plans, and deliverables.
• Travel to local sites and support commissioning as needed.
• Lead/work on projects from concept through commissioning phases.
