Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join our team of engineers delivering control system design, deployment, testing, and maintenance for diverse facilities. You will collaborate with customers and project teams to implement robust automation solutions, adapt to changing requirements, and support travel as needed to client sites.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in engineering, 7+ years of control systems experience, and hands-on calibration, startup, and commissioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in the control system industry.
• Ability to work independently on projects with a methodical approach.
• Basic understanding of control system network topologies.
• Instrumentation calibration/startup experience.
• Experience commissioning in live environments.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% (mostly local with remote support).
• Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support project work from design through implementation.
• Develop/modify design documentation like drawings and procedures.
• Perform quality checks and bench test PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs.
• Provide onsite and remote commissioning support and design changes.
• Coordinate with installation teams to monitor progress and QA/QC activities.
• Travel as needed to client sites for design, development, and startup.
• Represent the company values and focus on client success and professional development.
