Alamance Foods, Inc. is hiring a Controls Engineer to lead automation design, programming, and reliability across our manufacturing operations in Burlington, NC. You will serve as the site SME on PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS platforms, driving capital projects and supporting plant maintenance teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong controls background, hands-on troubleshooting ability, and a continuous-improvement mindset to optimize production and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Mechanical, or related engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of controls engineering in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HMIs and electrical design.
• Experience with maintenance planning and reliability improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design and program automated systems using PLCs and SCADA.
• Lead hardware/software integration for manufacturing equipment.
• Provide technical support and develop PMs/CI initiatives.
• Collaborate on project planning, budgeting, and capital expenditures.
