Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Columbus, OH is seeking a Controls Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for automated production lines and to program PLCs. You will work with Toyopuc, Omron, and Mitsubishi PLCs, design power distribution, integrate robot cells, estimate part and labor costs, and travel to customer sites across the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, PLC programming experience, strong problem-solving and communication

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Prior work experience in electrical design, PLC programming
• Ability to travel to customer site locations across USA, Mexico, and Canada
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Electrical design and development of automated production systems
• Perform PLC programming – Toyopuc, Omron, and Mitsubishi
• Design and troubleshoot power distribution control systems
• Perform robot cell integration
• Estimate pricing for parts, labor, and complete control design
• Travel to customer site, travel dependent on project workload
