Job summary

Randstad USA seeks a Controls Engineer in Ohio to join a system integrator near Maumee. Ideal candidates have 3+ years programming Allen Bradley PLCs and can read, edit, and interpret electrical schematics. Some travel (≈25%) is required, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Controls engineering is preferred.

All candidates must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. The role is permanent with a regular 9am–5pm schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of PLC programming experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell
• Ability to read, interpret and edit electrical schematics
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering preferred

Responsibilities

• Programming, commissioning, and startup of PLC-based automation systems
• Edit and interface HMI programs with PLC and robot functions
• System design, planning and creating programs, in-house debugging, and field start-up of automated systems
• Develop and write PLC programs to integrate multiple material handling devices with a robot
• Start-up and commission completed systems at customer sites for final acceptance
