Job summary
CapstoneONE Search is representing a prominent manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer. The role reports to the Senior Engineering Manager and is slated for immediate interview activity.
You will maintain PLC-based control systems for manufacturing automation, program Allen Bradley PLCs, and lead projects while assisting skilled trades in electrical disciplines in Muskegon, MI.
Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering degree required.
- Strong experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Experience in programming, installation, startup and debugging robotic production systems.
- Ability to read, interpret and edit electrical schematics and diagrams.
Responsibilities
- Provide input into departmental strategic goals and measurable targets.
- Maintain PLC-based control systems for manufacturing automation and instrumentation.
- Program PLC ladder logic (Allen Bradley).
- Lead projects and assist skilled trades in electrical disciplines.
- Support operations in electrical/controls troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
- Work closely with engineering team to define system control needs.
- Assist corporate controls in engineering changes and new programs.
- Guide design, develop and test electrical control methods, materials, processes and results.
- Champion assigned engineering changes communicate and coordinate accordingly to all.
