Job summary

CapstoneONE Search is representing a prominent manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer. The role reports to the Senior Engineering Manager and is slated for immediate interview activity.

You will maintain PLC-based control systems for manufacturing automation, program Allen Bradley PLCs, and lead projects while assisting skilled trades in electrical disciplines in Muskegon, MI.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Strong experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Experience in programming, installation, startup and debugging robotic production systems.
• Ability to read, interpret and edit electrical schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide input into departmental strategic goals and measurable targets.
• Maintain PLC-based control systems for manufacturing automation and instrumentation.
• Program PLC ladder logic (Allen Bradley).
• Lead projects and assist skilled trades in electrical disciplines.
• Support operations in electrical/controls troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
• Work closely with engineering team to define system control needs.
• Assist corporate controls in engineering changes and new programs.
• Guide design, develop and test electrical control methods, materials, processes and results.
• Champion assigned engineering changes communicate and coordinate accordingly to all.

We are representing a very prominent manufacturing organization who is actively seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer due to a continued growth/new business. This position will report to the Senior Engineering Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.

Position Overview:

• Provide key input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measurable to support the departmental goals
• Maintain PLC based control systems for manufacturing automation and instrumentation
• Program PLC ladder logic (Allen Bradley)
• Lead projects and assist skilled trades in electrical disciplines
• Support operations in electrical/controls troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities
• Work closely with engineering team to define system control needs
• Assist corporate controls in engineering changes and new programs

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering Degree is required for consideration
• Candidate should be well versed in Allen Bradley PLC's
• Experience in programming, installation, startup, and debug of integrated robotic production systems
• Proficient in reading, interpreting and editing electrical schematics and diagrams
