Job summary

iRiS Recruiting Solutions in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to design and program PLC/HMI for automated equipment and turnkey systems.

You will support electrical schematics, lead FATs onsite and remotely, ensure NEC/NFPA compliance, and collaborate with project teams on automation solutions. The role offers a quarterly bonus, strong 401(k) profit sharing, updated facilities, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PLC programming experience.
• Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC experience.
• Strong AC/DC electrical and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Engineering degree or equivalent automation experience preferred.
