Job summary

Careerpathway llc is seeking a highly motivated Controls Engineer to support our manufacturing operations on a 12-hour 2-2-3 rotation, with weekend coverage. You will drive reliability and continuous improvement, autonomously leading electrical controls projects, troubleshooting, programming, and data reporting.

You will design/modify PLC (Allen-Bradley), HMI (Allen-Bradley), and SCADA (GE Proficy IFIX, FactoryTalk SE) changes, maintain AutoCAD schematics, and collaborate with operations,

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering; technologist considered.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing automation controls.
• Strong computer skills.
• PLC, Servo, and HMI programming.

Responsibilities

• Provide automation support for plant processes and equipment.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams.
• Develop and modify PLC (Allen-Bradley), HMI (Allen-Bradley), and SCADA (GE Proficy IFIX, FactoryTalk SE) changes.
• Modify applications to provide reports and data to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Provide issue resolution support and training.
• Maintain and troubleshoot VFDs.
• Maintain documentation and updated PLC and robot programs.
• Design and maintain electrical schematics in AutoCAD format.
• Promote Hartmann core values and leadership behavior.
