Job summary

Employbridge is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to join a growing team in Winona, MN. The candidate will design, program, troubleshoot, and support industrial automation and control systems, working directly with clients to develop solutions and program PLC and HMI systems.

The role involves integrating robotics and motion control technologies, providing technical expertise throughout project implementation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Proficiency in HMI programming and industrial networking.
• Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, and NEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to determine project requirements and specs.
• Test, commission, and debug electrical control systems.
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and robotics software.
• Integrate systems using servo motors, drives, and peripherals.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and manuals.
• Provide technical support to engineers, technicians, and stakeholders.
• Support startup and implementation of automated control systems.
