Qualifications

• Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, and NEC standards.

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, program, troubleshoot, and support industrial automation and control systems. This role will work directly with clients to develop solutions, program PLC and HMI systems, integrate robotics and motion control technologies, and provide technical expertise throughout project implementation.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to determine project requirements and specifications
• Perform testing, commissioning, and debugging of electrical control systems
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and robotics software
• Integrate systems utilizing servo motors, frequency drives, and peripheral devices
• Analyze and troubleshoot electrical control systems to resolve technical issues
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and operational manuals
• Provide technical support to engineers, technicians, and project stakeholders
• Support successful implementation and startup of automated control systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs, including Siemens, Allen-Bradley (preferred), Mitsubishi, and other platforms
• Proficiency with HMI programming, and industrial networking
• Familiarity with industry standards including IEC, IEEE, and NEC
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, electrical codes, and industry standards
• Understanding of control system hardware, software, and robotics integration
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with customers and cross-functional teams
