Job summary

Shuttleworth LLC, part of ProMach, is seeking a Controls Engineer in Huntington, IN to take electrical control system projects from inception through production, including new product design and redesign efforts. You will design, develop, test, and debug control systems for our Slip-Torque conveyors and machinery, creating detailed schematics, BOMs, and PLC/HMI software to meet specifications and budgets.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, on-site installation support, and travel.

Qualifications

• BS or AAS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering or related technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test electrical control systems for conveyors, machinery, and components per requirements and budget.
• Develop hardware and system drawings, schematics in AutoCAD Electrical, and BOMs.
• Program PLC, Servo, and HMI software to meet system requirements and ensure proper operation.
• Travel to customer sites for installation, startup, and service support (10–30%).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete high-quality projects and prepare detailed customer quotes.
