ProMach in Rocky Mount, NC seeks an experienced Automation Engineer to lead PLC/HMI programming across Rockwell, Siemens, and Omron, design electrical schematics with AutoCAD Electrical, and implement motor control with VFDs and servo systems.

This role travels up to 15% for installation and commissioning, collaborates across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Production, and Field Services, and drives BOM management within ERP.

Qualifikationen

• Baccalaureate or higher in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years in automation controls and programming, packaging a plus.
• Experience with Rockwell, Siemens, and Omron systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ERP BOM processes.

Aufgaben

• Develop and debug PLC and HMI programming for packaging machinery.
• Design electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Lead project lifecycle from specs to on-site commissioning and training.
• Coordinate BOM management and field service with cross-functional teams.
