SpecSys is seeking a Controls Engineer to design and program control systems for mobile equipment, including schematics, BOMs, and user manuals. You will collaborate with engineers, manufacturing, and project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and safe operation.

The role requires 4+ years in controls and electrical design, proficiency in PLC programming, CAD, and knowledge of CAN/J1939 and SAE J1939.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of controls and electrical experience.
• Experience with mobile equipment electrical design.
• Proficiency in PLC programming.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and control systems.

Aufgaben

• Verify design meets performance specifications.
• Develop and update project timelines and reviews.
• Develop system concepts to meet project function.
• Perform engineering calculations to verify design requirements.
• Provide technical data to client, designers, and drafters.
• Develop electronic control systems to meet customer specs.
• Provide programming for controls including PLCs and HMI.
• Prepare system operation documents for the customer.
• Create and review BOMs for completeness.
