As a Controls Engineer you will program and design electrical systems, select components, draft schematics, BOMs, and manuals while collaborating with manufacturing and project managers to deliver On Time,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years of controls and electrical experience.
• Experience with mobile equipment electrical design or controls.
• Proficient in PLC programming and HMI development.
• Familiarity with SAE J1939 and CANopen.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Verify design meets performance and configuration specs.
• Develop and update project timelines.
• Develop system concepts to meet project function.
• Perform engineering calculations for design requirements.
• Provide technical data to client and drafters.
• Develop electronic control systems to meet customer specs.
• Provide programming for controls, including PLCs and HMI.
• Prepare system operation documents and design review booklets.
• Create system schematics for AC/DC circuits.
• Generate and review BOMs.
• Provide instructions to electrical technicians.
• Support development of other systems (hydraulics, powertrain, engine, pneumatics).
• Update action items with ECOs.
