Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Colorado is seeking an Engineer in Controls Engineering to join the Mechanical Controls group within FBM, focusing on design, qualification, production support, and system-level integration of missile controls.

You will own hardware components in the Thrust Vector Control group, lead technical solutions, interface with Navy partners and LM leadership, and contribute to cross-functional product development and career growth.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in engineering project management, supplier management, annual budget proposals, technical evaluations, tracking and/or development of cost/schedule.
• Exposure to or participation with failure investigations, root cause analysis, and/or corrective action disposition.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering documentation.
• Lead investigations.
• Provide project budget management including collaboration with subcontract management to provide technical support.
• Contribute to new business trade studies.
• Enhance cross discipline product development.
• Participate in mentorship opportunities and professional development.
• Be the technical interface to FBM management, systems engineering, quality, and our Navy counterparts.
