Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Littleton (CO) is seeking a Flight Software Engineer to design, develop, test and troubleshoot mission-critical flight control software for missile systems. You will join the FBM Avionics team with GN&C engineers and other software professionals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret. Expect full-time office work with a 9x80 schedule and no telework, in a collaborative, high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software/EE or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in software development life cycle across requirements, design, code and test.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills, ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, build and test flight software in C.
• Create software requirements and ensure documentation and code meet them.
• Review software data from production tests and assist with troubleshooting (Python, MATLAB, C).
• Integrate with project management and systems engineering.
• Provide technical leadership in software and computer engineering.
