Qualifications

• B.S. in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
• 2+ years of transient system modeling and control algorithm development.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team.
• Ability to learn and work with guidance on engine modeling, simulation, and control analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engine and avionics systems engineers to develop and verify engine and control system performance.
• Collaborate with avionics software engineers to develop and verify high level software requirements.
• Develop and mature control, estimation, and system fault detection algorithms.
• Develop and mature verification compliance reports for engine and control system.
• Develop and mature engine and control system transient models and analyses.
• Establish and mature standard work instructions for transient modeling and analysis methods.
