Thermo Systems in Utah seeks a Control System Engineer to design, integrate, and commission control systems for district energy, life sciences, and mission-critical projects. You will lead hardware and software design, testing, and installation support under guidance from project leads.

The role requires a BS in engineering or related field, 2+ years of experience, and a track record in field troubleshooting, FAT, and client communication.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field with relevant technical experience
• Typically 2+ years total experience
• 1–3 years as Control System Engineer or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Displays electrical and mechanical system troubleshooting skills.
• Lead other project members during installation, start-up, and commissioning.
• Lead and perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Demonstrate understanding of IT systems and network infrastructure related to control system integration.
• Communicate effectively with customers; follow site standards and procedures.
• Understand scope of work, escalate issues beyond scope to project lead.
• Provide instrumentation specifications for basic control systems.
