Job summary

Greenheck Group, a global leader in air movement and ventilation, seeks a Controls Engineer II to collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing to improve electrical designs and direct digital controls for air handling products.

You will develop new control designs, validate deliverables, and support production transitions, leveraging your engineering experience and HVAC knowledge to optimize performance and reliability.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of engineering experience required.
  • 2-year Associate Degree in engineering or related field or equivalent.
  • 4-year Bachelor's in engineering preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience with function block and structured text languages preferred.
  • Good understanding of HVAC equipment operation and applications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and redesign controls product designs with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure control design meets required operation points and design intent.
  • Identify controls strategies for optimal product applications.
  • Review and validate deliverables for internal and external customers.
  • Develop BOMs, complete IAN, and communicate design translations.
  • Support transitions from design to production including testing and training.
  • Evaluate equipment and facility capabilities for design cost effectiveness.
  • Identify defects and drive product quality improvements.
