Job summary

Design Group leads the Instrumentation and Controls scope for AI-driven data centers in the Abilene and Haskell, TX area. The role covers engineering, procurement, system integration, on-site checkout, and commissioning of instrumentation and control elements including chillers, AHUs, and power infrastructure.

Strong onsite presence and leadership are essential. Ideal candidates have BMS/EPMS commissioning experience, a bachelor’s in engineering, and willingness to relocate or travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience starting up control systems with significant onsite time.
• Willingness to spend 75% onsite.
• Willingness to travel 100% or relocate with relocation assistance.
• Strong communicator and ability to work within large teams.
• Experience with BMS and EPMS commissioning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup and commissioning of control systems at multiple greenfield data centers.
• Oversee on-site checkout and commissioning of instrumentation and control elements.
• Configure and calibrate instruments and communication protocols.
• Provide guidance to subcontractors during site activities.
• Ensure safe and compliant operations during deployments.
