Job summary
W3Global in North Carolina seeks a Controls Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Randleman. You will design, program, and commission factory automation systems with a focus on Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs, FANUC robotics, HMIs, and motion control.
You will develop control architectures, create electrical schematics, configure hardware, test systems for safe operation, and provide technical support throughout installation and startup, working closely with project teams and customers.
Qualifications
- Experience programming Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs, including development and commissioning.
- Experience programming and integrating FANUC robots for automated systems.
- Working knowledge of HMIs, motion control, industrial networks, and safety systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and collaborate with electrical/mechanical teams.
- Strong troubleshooting for electrical/PLC/robot/system integration issues.
- Bachelor's degree or hands-on equivalent in Electrical/Controls/Mechatronics.
- Strong communication skills and customer-facing installation experience.
