United Future is seeking a Controls Engineer for a World Class Manufacturer near the Oneida, NY area. The role focuses on designing and developing machine control systems, including VFD sizing, motor protection, PLC and HMI work.

You will program Allen-Bradley PLCs and Siemens controls, lead installation and commissioning across multiple sites, and provide hands-on troubleshooting with maintenance teams. Travel about 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in controls
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with NEC and machine safety standards
• US work eligibility without restriction

Responsabilités

• Design and develop machine control systems including VFDs and protection devices
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley and Siemens)
• Lead installation, integration, and commissioning across local facilities with ~30% travel
• Provide hands-on electrical and controls troubleshooting with maintenance teams
