Job summary

Sora Resource Group is assisting a Brown Deer, WI-based green-tech manufacturer in hiring a Controls Engineer. The role focuses on PLC/HMI programming (Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, RSLogix; Siemens TIA Portal), SCADA optimization, and integration with high-speed equipment.

You will lead system upgrades, support capital installs, and drive continuous improvement across automated processing lines, with Day 1 benefits and a direct-hire path.

Qualifications

5+ years of automation controls in continuous manufacturing.
3+ years AB/Siemens PLC/HMI programming.
3+ years tracing schematics up to 480V.
US work authorization and local commute to Brown Deer, WI.
Willingness for 1st shift with flexible start times.

Responsibilities

Provide high-level floor support troubleshooting control networks and drives.
Perform PLC/HMI optimization using AB Studio 5000/RSLogix and Siemens TIA Portal.
Enhance SCADA systems for real-time data, tracking, and predictive maintenance.
Lead continuous improvement projects and redesign control architectures.
Support capital installs with wiring, network integration, and machine positioning.
Trace complex schematics and network topologies up to 480V to resolve issues.
