Job Juncture is seeking an experienced Automation Controls Specialist in Brown Deer, WI to lead PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA optimization on high-speed continuous processing lines. You will troubleshoot complex control networks and drive continuous improvements across engineering teams.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automation controls, 3+ years with Allen‑Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI, and strong background in drives, schematics, and industrial networking, with Day 1 benefits
Qualifications
- 5+ years dedicated automation controls experience in continuous manufacturing.
- 3+ years writing, modifying, and debugging logic in Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI.
- 3+ years tracing electrical schematics up to 480V.
- 3+ years managing AC/DC drives, VFDs, servos, pneumatics and hydraulics.
- U.S. citizenship or green card and daily commuting distance to Brown Deer, WI.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level floor support and troubleshoot control networks to maximize uptime.
- Perform PLC/HMI optimization using Studio 5000/RSLogix and Siemens TIA Portal.
- Enhance SCADA and network systems for real-time data and predictive maintenance.
- Lead system upgrades and drive continuous improvement in control architectures.
- Support capital installs with wiring, networking, and machine positioning.
- Trace complex schematics and resolve intermittent hardware issues.
