Job summary
Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a Controls Engineer in the Brown Deer, WI area for a direct-hire role focused on Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and SCADA optimization. This 1st shift position offers Day 1 benefits, a competitive starting rate from $40/hr, and a path for growth in a green-tech manufacturer with a 40-year record of stability.
You will lead PLC programming, HMI development, SCADA enhancements, and capital-automation projects on high-speed lines, with flexible 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM starts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of automation controls experience in continuous manufacturing.
- 3+ years writing/diagnosing Allen-Bradley and Siemens logic.
- 3+ years tracing electrical schematics up to 480V.
Responsibilities
- Provide High-Level Floor Support: Troubleshoot complex control networks and high-speed drive systems to optimize uptime.
- Execute PLC & HMI Optimization: Edit logic and modify HMI using Studio 5000/RSLogix and TIA Portal.
- Enhance SCADA & Network Systems: Improve data acquisition, tracking, and predictive maintenance capabilities.
- Engineer System Upgrades: Lead continuous improvement projects and redesign control architectures.
- Support Capital Installs: Collaborate with cross-functional teams during asset deployments.
- Trace Complex Schematics: Read multi-page schematics and diagrams up to 480V to resolve issues.
