Cullerton Group seeks a Controls Engineer 2 in Tucson, AZ, 1st shift, onsite at a proving ground. You will support the integration, testing, and validation of autonomous haul trucks and heavy equipment, traveling up to 25% to Peoria, IL.

This 24-month role focuses on test planning, machine-level testing, troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and software domains, and generating detailed test reports.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent testing experience.
• 2–4 years in engineering, vehicle testing, system validation, or similar fields.
• Internships eligible for consideration.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
• Proficient with Windows operating systems and computer use.

Mansioni

• Develop, update, and execute test/validation plans for autonomous haul trucks.
• Perform hands-on machine-level testing of autonomous drills and systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues on autonomous equipment.
• Analyze data, document issues, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
• Collaborate with operators, software developers, and engineers to improve system performance.
