Job summary

L.V. Enterprises is seeking a Controls Engineer to bridge the plant floor and engineering teams, owning solutions from root cause analysis to startup and beyond.

You will troubleshoot complex equipment, lead controls upgrades, support new installations, and help engineers and technicians sharpen their skills while working across production, maintenance, and vendor partners.

Qualifications

• A degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of industrial controls experience.
• Strong PLC programming, HMI programming, and motion control skills.
• Ability to read, create, and modify electrical schematics using AutoCAD.
• Sound electrical knowledge, a safety-first approach, and curiosity to find root causes.

Responsibilities

• PLC/drive/motion system design and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and process issues.
• Installations and upgrades of equipment and controls.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineers, equipment manufacturers, and vendors.

I’m partnering with an established manufacturer looking for a Controls Engineer who can move comfortably between the plant floor and the bigger picture. You’ll troubleshoot complex equipment, shape controls upgrades, support new installations, and help other engineers and technicians sharpen their skills.
