Job summary

The Hershey Company is hiring an Electrical Technician for its Hazle Township, PA facility. The role supports maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems in a high-speed food manufacturing environment, with focus on PLCs, HMIs, and power circuits.

Shift-based work includes potential overtime and a sign-on bonus, with comprehensive health and retirement benefits. Qualified candidates will have at least two years of education in electrical technology or four years of related experience,

Qualifications

• Must have education in electrical technology or equivalent field.
• Minimum two years education or four years’ maintenance experience.
• Experience with PLCs, instrumentation, and power circuits.
• Able to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend electrical and instrumentation drawings.
• Troubleshoot PLC programs and implement changes as needed.
• Install, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation and control systems.
• Maintain motor control systems including VFDs and robotics.
• Ensure adherence to GMP in a food manufacturing setting.
