Job summary

The Hershey Company Lancaster plant is seeking a skilled Controls Electrician to join our manufacturing team. You will support maintenance and production by troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting high-speed equipment and control systems, interpreting schematics and drawings, and ensuring safety practices.

You should have hands-on electrical experience in manufacturing, PLC knowledge, and the ability to work across shifts, including overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be flexible to work any shift, including weekends and overtime.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in industrial electrical systems and PLCs.
• Ability to work with voltages up to 480V, read schematics and electrical prints.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance and production to troubleshoot, repair and adjust equipment with minimal downtime.
• Interpret machine manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings for equipment.
• Demonstrate understanding of electricity, electronics, and control systems; apply NEC and NFPA 70-E principles.
• Perform PLC and control system troubleshooting and repair; diagnose faulty components.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams; troubleshoot networks like ControlNet, Devicenet, and Ethernet.
