Job summary

Ambient Enterprises seeks a Controls Design Engineer for the DMG SC Division to deliver high-quality building automation and energy management solutions across multiple markets. You will design based on plans, maintain RFIs, and drive design acceptance while coordinating with project teams.

The role requires 3+ years in BAS engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD/Visio, and the ability to read electrical diagrams. Travel to jobsites may be required within the DMG territory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Building Automation Systems engineering.
• Ability to read/interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Visio and AutoCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Technical execution lead in implementing building automation and energy management solutions.
• Develop submittals including network architecture, control wiring schematics, sequences of operations, and BOMs.
• Take-off engineered plans during preconstruction to estimate controls design for RFPs.
