Job summary

The DMG SC Division within Ambient Enterprises seeks a Controls Design Engineer to lead building automation and energy management solutions for multiple markets. You will design control systems, develop submittals, and support RFIs to meet project plans and contracts, with some travel to job sites across the DMG territory.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Engineering, can read electrical diagrams, and bring 3+ years in Building Automation Systems, with proficiency in MS Office; Visio and AutoCAD

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Building Automation Systems.
• Engineering degree (BS) required.
• Ability to read/interpret electrical circuit diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Technical execution lead in building automation and energy management solutions.
• Engineer designs based on plans, maintain RFIs, and drive design acceptance.
• Develop submittals: network architecture, layouts, schematics, BOMs, sequences, schedules.
• Take-off engineered plans during preconstruction to estimate controls design for RFPs.
